Most probably you have also seen all the main landmarks that are to be visited and are a bit tired from the crowds of tourists taking photos, staying in queues to enter a certain place, etc. Now, if this is the case there are some nice places in London that are a kind of hidden attractions, which deserve great attention.

Among the places that need to be visited here are the Dennis Severs’ House, which is set in Tower Hamlets and has a great 18th century atmosphere. The place is very interesting to be seen and while here one feels as if the occupants have just been here. There are beds left unmade, half-eaten meals, half-full glasses. The house plays with the thin line between history and fantasy and the attention to the details used in the interior is really impressive.

The Hunterian Museum, Royal College of Surgeons, London

Another interesting place to consider is Hunterian Museum, which is placed at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. It offers collections of specimens and medical instruments. The place is not recommended for children. Those travellers, who love art, could check the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art. The collection is located in a Georgian building in Islington and reveals pieces of Italian art from the period 1890 – 1950 and the main exhibition is based on the Italian movement admiring the technology.

The other place that deserves the attention is the first public sector day Spa center in London. It is located in Bethnal Green leisure center York Hall and provides great and relaxing spa procedures with duration of three hours and a very low price. In case you need more time to relax and unwind, then go to St. Mary’s Secret Garden, which is a small garden on Pearson street and features a herb garden, a natural woodland and vegetables. The place can be visited on a working day from 9 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Onsite are offered therapeutic sessions and educational lectures.

The other nice site to visit in London city is the Women’s Library, which has a great collection of books and a reading book open to the public. Also interesting is Wilton’s Music Hall, which is the oldest grand music hall in the city. It is a venue for many events like theatre and opera, concerts and guided tours. In case that you are tired from multiplexes and nostalgic for the old time movie going, then the Secret Cinema is a great place to check. The Secret Cinema changes the venues and plays interesting movies with interesting live installations. To make thing even more interesting, the organizers do not reveal the film until the time of the movie starts.

Another interesting site are the Chilsehurst Caves, which are close to Bromley. The underground caves form a huge maze. There is a guide as well.
