  Roulette strategies are simple and easy to apply. I try to avoid the double zero, cause it definitely makes the game less fun and ruins the prize. I guess we all count on luck here or I am wrong?

Strategy

Don't mix this rule up with the rule of the same name found in Blackjack. In Roulette, this rule only affects outside wagers that pay even money, namely high/low, odd/even and red/black. If while playing one of the above the ball should fall into 0 or 00, only half of the wager is lost, rather than all of it. This rule reduces the house's edge by a rather significant amount. True, outside bets don't pay off all that much, but by playing a table with the surrender rule your odds will improve significantly. Certainly the easiest way to improve your odds is to play on European tables which have only one 0. Playing on these tables reduces the house advantage from 5.26% to 2.7%. While it's true that it's much easier to find a European table in Europe, today one can find a wide selection of gambling games on-line, and there are plenty of reputable on-line casino offering Roulette with European tables. If you play only on European tables, your winnings are certain to improve. Another rule to be aware of is one called 'En Prison.' This rule applies only to outside even-money wagers. If the ball falls on 0, the player doesn't lose his wager right away.
