I found your history of Keno to be quite an interesting read. I stayed and played. Unfortunately, I lost! Just kidding, I used my Ole Ladys credit card, so everythings cool.

Keno

History

Before you play some free on-line keno, you might want to learn about the history of the game. Keno comes from China, and is probably more than 2,000 years old. Its original name was 'baige piao', which means "white pigeon ticket," because white pigeons were used to pass the news of the winning numbers from where the drawings were held in the larger cities to the neighboring villages and communities. Three centuries before the birth of Christ, baige piao had spread throughout most of China's provinces, usually under the control of established gambling houses with support of the governor of the province, who got a piece of the profit in return. There's an ancient scroll that tells of Cheung Leung, who is said to have created the game around 200 BC. Cheung was leader of a town whose army had been fighting for several years, and supplies were running out.
