Prior to the dealing of the cards, each player must make an 'Ante' wager. This is also the time to make a side bet for the Progressive Jackpot. The wager for the Progressive Jackpot is separate from the game, though in order to take part in the jackpot a player must have made an Ante wager. The dealer deals 5 cards facedown to every player. The dealer receives 4 cards facedown and 1 face up. Once the dealer has dealt the necessary cards, each player examines his hand and decides whether he wants to Bet or to Fold. There should be no communication among the players while they examine their cards. If a player believes that his hand will beat the dealer's hand and wishes to keep playing, he has to make another wager. This wager has to be twice as large as the Ante and is to be put in the area labeled 'Bet'. Should you decide not to play the hand, you have to fold. To fold, you put your cards on the table facedown.
