  Its so easy now for the beginners! It wasn't like that when I started :)) now all the strategies are systemized and there are many free games to practice. I did several of them before I started playing over the internet, though I had a lot of experience at the casinos before that.

  These strategies for 7 card poker are awesome! My favorite is the bluffing, and I'm pretty good at it. I guess my style is bully, if I follow the information here. There are some online rooms I want to give a try. Wish me luck!

Strategy

Winning at 7 Card Stud is all about having the high cards. The hands that win aren't usually decided by straights, flushes or other strong hands, usually it all comes down to who's holding the highest of two pairs, or sometimes just by who has the highest pair. Even if you have a straight or a flush draw, you need to be holding at the minimum one card higher than the cards on the board or two high cards. Unless these sort of draw hands and weak pairs strengthen or a high pair turn up, you'll need to fold quickly. When the board beats your high hand, you need to fold as well, unless you're convinced that you are holding the highest draw hand. When holding a hand which is capable of winning without any additional cards, you should play fast to scare away as many competitors as possible. When you have a draw hand, you should slow down the play so that more players stay in, which helps with the odds if you should win.
