  I like playing 7 card poker more than the other poker variants, as it has limited bets and that suits me just fine. I go for the online casinos, as they give me a lot of freedom and I don't have to wear make-up or fancy clothes, just my panties :))

  I am so grateful to all these online casino rooms! I work night-shifts, and often it's very quiet with nothing going on for hours. But I have to be there, so I kill time playing 7 card poker with some small bets. I've never been to a real casino, and maybe Ill go someday, but for now I'm doing good and make some extra money on the side.

History

In 1829, a game was played in New Orleans that has been identified as the earliest form of poker found in America. It was played with a deck containing only twenty cards, four each of 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings. The goal of the game was to wager as to who would have the five-card hand with the highest cards. This game was soon being played on the riverboats plying the Mississippi, by con artists who played a variant which used 52 cards in order to take advantage of inexperienced travelers and win their 'pokes', which is the money they had brought along for gambling. During the American Civil War, the specific variation known as Stud Poker appeared. Some have suggested that credit for the invention of the game belongs to cowboys in Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. The first version of the game was 5-Card Stud, which in 1864 was listed as a Poker variant in The American Hoyle. The most popular form of Poker was Draw Poker until 7 Card Stud was introduced at the dawn of the 20th Century. 7 Card Stud was the most widely played variation of casino and professional Poker for most of the 20th Century.
